Gays in America: perception vs. reality (via Fully Myelinated)

When looking at the argument of perception vs. reality, it really does open up a whole field of items in the nonprofit and fundraising world. I wonder if any research has been done in regards to what people believe charitable donations go towards (in general and specifically) compared to where it actually goes.

And really the whole vs concept here is really the crux of every situation whether commercial, government, or personal, right?
